What a busy Week

Fantastic weekend, I hope you enjoyed yours...

Last week was busy and we were able to launch our new flagship product and introduce it to the marketplace. We had a baby shower at Poway Lake for my fourth grandchild, all of which have been girls.

I met a gentleman last week who is interested in setting up a website for his coffee import business. The coffee is coming from Italy and is supposedly much better than Starbucks.

Keep up with this blog and you might find yourself drinking a cup shortly. Other work includes more websites to create for people and content to write.

This weekend I was able to sit down on Sunday and bang out a couple more articles on Poker Parties. I am creating a 10 article submission strategy to boost my page views on atouchofterrific.com which is currently housing an affiliate link to Winning at Texas Holdem for Dummies book.

I thought the book would stir interest in some folks, but I am only willing to do bum marketing strategies with this site. I hope this shows in the short term, maybe 3 months whether I picked a winner or not. If it fails to raise any sales, I will implement a few more pages and add some extra goodies like folding card tables and chip sets.

Holdem Poker lessons taught by the pros

In Today's episode, Dwight Asked: Why does facebook's Holdem poker seem to win a lot of straights?

I was noticing that the amount of straights that were coming up winners were everywhere. They were kicking my hind end. I mean, I managed to win a few hands but I was wiped out plenty of times.

I saw lots of people going all in on each hand. I am not sure what they were accomplishing doing that. I would just fold my hand. I guess you get new chips each day so might as well pass the ones you get today along?

I actually love to play hold'em poker and have seen a few tournaments myself. There was one here in San Diego just a couple of weeks ago. Ten dollar buy-in, winner gets a chance to move on to the next level heading towards the big leagues.

Oh, the excitement is just too much for my heart, so I'll just sit here online playing with fake money on facebook.

Waiting Sucks!

In Today's episode, Dwight Asked: Why does the US Government take so long to reply to your request and in other countries, like Germany, get right back to you and have the documents you request immediatly? I have been waiting for the USCIS to give me a validation that they have received my paperwork for almost a month and I am getting worried.

Can't work on Memorial Day

One Should spend time with the family. Hot Dogs and Hamburgers are on order today. The pool water is running warm to hot because of the pool cover we put on starting in January-February time frame.

Granddaughter spent the night last night, it was good to let the parents get a break, but you forget how much energy a 4 year old has. I was ready for bed by 10:00pm.

Working a little today with the keyword list for the product I have been developing. I have searched high and low for keywords that might fit with it.

I love Google search engine's front page. When you start typing in the word and you get to the end of what you think is the best keyword you can think of, Google on the right hand side, shows you how many times that word has been looked up in the past month. If you wait just a second or two, other related words will add themselves behind the first word, making up searched for phrases instead of just one word.

I use this technique when looking for phrases that have large numbers for look up and low numbers of landing pages and with no competition on ads for the first page. I am going to do some follow up on responses when test marketing the product.

Adsense is now on my blog.

Aside note: I now have Adsense added to my Blog.

You can add the blog feed if you want to keep up with my blogging activities. Otherwise, I think it only feeds into my Face book right now.

Now you might ask why I am adding a blog from Google into my Face book account?

Well, there is actually a reason why and it has to do with back linking and getting published on the web.

Brain Storming A New Idea

In Today's episode, Dwight Asked: Is there room for another millionaire on the web?

I have been working on a new product that I would like to market on the Internet very soon. I have a plan, and I am studying the ways of how other marketeers have gone about it. I was thinking a super-long drop-in page with all the bells and glamor I can muster, giving up all of the nifty and gritty details about it...And have a "how-to" video on how to use the product.

Did I miss anything?

The product is very simple to use and I have looked around for something similar and there is nothing quite like it being marketed on the internet today.

Well, back to brainstorming.

Does the Facebook/rss feed work?

In Today's episode, Dwight Asked:

I'm looking to hook my google blogging site to my facebook site. I hope this works.

My First Entry:

I am happy to be alive, even though life sends lemons, and we are making lemonade, I still have something I have to get off my chest. In the days to come, I will give up the details.

I hope you find something that you can take away with you when I finish this essay, because it is real and happening as I write now.

To start with, I was born in Germany in the largest American Hospital complex east of the Mississippi. My parents were immigrants, using the U.S. Military to help themselves out of a country that seemed to be missing some of the opportunities that America had to offer.

My father, who is still living and retired in Florida, first came to America as a foreign exchange student. Being exposed to the heartland of the USA created in him a desire to be part of America for the rest of his life.
